AI algorithms have long been widely used by global digital platforms (ex: Youtube or Amazon) to manage recommendation systems and personalized advertising campaigns based on a users’ previous behavior.
Artificial intelligence is used to target Web advertisements to those most likely to click on them or interact with them. It is also adopted to increase the time spent on a Web site by proposing a rotation of attractive content for the user.
Machine learning is also used in Web feeds, to determine which posts should be displayed in social media feeds.
