Investigating the relationship between art and speech is a fascinating path, not frequently explored in art history. Medieval phylacteries explicitly connected texts and figures, respecting the function of art as a depiction of sacred texts, which takes interesting forms in miniatures. Calligraphy is one of the main arts for the Chinese, and ideograms are systematically included in paintings. How can the relationship between images and texts in AI image generation be investigated and represented, so as to reveal its deeper aspects?
